A transitioning is happening.  What was Wild Harvest Nature Connection is becoming something new...  Almost all the same mentors & at same areas, new leadership, some fresh offerings.  Summer camps 2025 will be familiar (similar to how WHNC summer camps shift just slightly year to year) and offered through our new organization.

Please visit WHNC.ORG to learn more

Thank you for your patience during this potentially confusing time of transition.  Two organizations exist right now.

Homeschool 24-25 programming began Sept 18 & 19!

Our homeschool programs are a cohort of kids, adults, and grandparents who meet at the same location through multiple seasons using routines that spiral us into connection with ourselves, each other, and the land.  Over years of this we awaken self knowing which grows into stepping into giving our gifts in our community and caretaking the wild world we experience supporting us each day.

Spots open in Wild Saplings, Wednesday Wild Explorers (1 spot), and Wild Tenders
Please reach out to [email protected] with questions and to register.

This year's schedule:

Last week: May 21st, 2024

We acknowledge the sovereignty of the Ho-Chunk Nation and the 11 indigenous nations within what is now the state of Wisconsin.  The sacred ancestral land where Lake Farm County Park is located and where we run our programs is that of the Ho-Chunk people. We are committed to holding the pain of this historical trauma, recognizing ways in which we have been/are complacent and working harder to educate about our complex history with love.

We are grateful to be in our 7th year of running programs for the Madison, WI area, traditional Ho-Chunk lands better known as Teejop.  We have a variety of nature connection offerings for families, kids, and adults. Please check out our Current Programs and the Rites of Passage pages in the menu to see all that we offer.
